Five Is Our Magic Number
This month we opened our fifth award cycle. And with four years under our belt, we have the wisdom only time and experience deliver.
We're taking these next two months to celebrate, look back, and lay out our plans for 2019. Those plans include an ambitious goal of raising $13,000. These funds will allow us to expand our programming and provide deeper levels of support to our students.
Since we formed in 2015, donors have made it possible for our students to pay tuition, attend summer orientation programming for first-generation students, and participate in youth leadership programming. They've made it possible for students to rent a car to move to college and buy a bus ticket to attend a family funeral. Most recently, donor support helped provide expensive but necessary toiletries. Each investment by you, our donors, removes barriers to success and allows the ambitious and accomplished women we work with to focus and flourish.
Every investment helps our young women find their voice, their community, and get a little closer to their dream. We hope we can count on your help in reaching this year's goal, whether your investment is the $25 needed to provide a welcome kit, the $75 needed to provide toiletries, or some other sum that fits your budget.
